Couples often ask us the same things: how does ceremony sound work here, where do introductions happen, how do the speeches carry, and what does the dance floor actually look like once dinner is over? Venue websites rarely answer that. These pages do — from our own experience working weddings in these rooms. Our First Dance is an independent wedding DJ and MC service; we don’t represent or speak for any venue.
The ceremony sits at the water’s edge among the trees and needs its own sound, then everything moves inside to one big open room with a checkered dance floor that gives the dancing a clearly defined space.
When you book Our First Dance, you plan directly with Eddie and Arlene — and Eddie and Arlene are the two people who arrive on your wedding day. Eddie runs the music and sound; Arlene handles planning, announcements and the flow of the day. Nothing gets handed off.
