Mahr Park is really two spaces that work as one: the barn and the patio outside its glass doors. The ceremony can happen on the patio, guests walk straight inside for dinner, and once the doors roll up the dancing spills back outside under the lights. Here is what mattered most from where we stood.
These are our working notes from weddings we DJ’d here, not park rules or guarantees. Every wedding is different, and we plan each one with the couple directly.
At Mahr Park the ceremony can be held on the concrete patio right outside the barn, with guests in rows of white folding chairs and the trees as the backdrop. It is open air, which means nothing carries on its own. We treat the ceremony as its own event with its own sound, so the moments that matter most are heard, not just seen.

Inside, the barn is one open room with the head table and guest tables set around the floor and the glass doors along the patio side. Sound here is about the guest experience: people should be able to talk over dinner, understand every toast, and feel the energy lift when the dancing starts. With hard floors, high ceilings and doors that open to the outside, we keep dinner and toast volume comfortable and clear, then build the sound when the dance floor opens.
No gear talk. Good sound at a wedding is the kind nobody notices.
At Mahr Park the formal part of the evening and the party share one room — and, once the doors roll up, the patio too. Arlene runs the introductions and keeps the timeline moving; Eddie reads the room and builds the music to get people onto the floor and keep them there.
